I sat down in the square under a tree with my back to my bike & put my sunglasses on as disguise then I pretended that I was waiting for someone whilst people walked past. Some of them looked at me curiously. After a while I got bored so I took out my drawing book and tentatively started sketching the dome of the building. Nobody took any notice of me. I carried on lightly sketching the building. Nobody approached me. Then the drawing got interesting and I stopped thinking that someone was going to approach me, why would they? I strengthened the lines of the building, I didn't want to stop drawing it even when it was done. It's not a very special drawing but the making of it felt good.

Drawing in the open
